Tuesday Evening Prank

It was supposed to be another boring lecture this evening. The monotonous tone and one-point-5-minutes explaination is not the best way to keep us wake up the whole evening. But somehow, somebody came up with a prank which actually working coz the whole final year student was desperate to find a job.

The advantage of that prank that earlier today, a lecturer has annouced that who interested to get a job at KUKUM has to give their name to him. So as a good samatarian (btul ke perkataan ni?) a girl passed around a piece of paper and asked those who interested to write their name and passed back to her so that she can gave to the lecturer.

So this unknown person, took this oppurtunity to pass around a paper which was written, ' Abbott Medical Sdn. Bhd. open vacancies for service & maintanance engineer at King's Hospital, New Zealand. Interested please write your name. 20 vacancies. Minimum CGPA 2.5'. to make the matter worse, there's a phase which said, sponsored by JPA.

Being excited about going to New Zealand, 1/3 of class managed to write their name before somebody pointed out the inconsequential stuff that can found on that a piece of paper. Why would JPA sponsored 20 people to work in New Zealand under Abbott Medical? Then we looked carefully again, we found out that the first four names weren't even exist. Not to mention that all four names were written by the same people (according to the handwriting and pen). We immediately erased our names and being cheeky too, we passed the paper the front and around the class.

So the beginning of interesting class was began. We watched as people tried to believe the paper and actually took some time to think whether to go or not. Some of them realized that it was a fake and passed it on. At the end, at least 10 names were on that paper. Laughing hystrically, we read the names who thought that was real. Then we passed back to the mastermind (until now we didn't know who started it. Some said the other poeple and some said different person).

In the midst of that funny event, some people actually took it seriously and accused me and Yon of being the mastermind. I was quite irritated with that accusation (which was said with serius face and cynical) coz I never thought people would take that so seriously ( I dunno lah if she really wante dto go, and felt angry when she know that was not true). It's not that she 's the only one who fell for that, me myself also fell for that prank. But I took it easily and laughed it off.
