People We Meet

Everyday you wake up and you meet people. God makes a way that no matter how anti-social are you, you'll end up meeting people either you like it or not. You have to deal with people to get food, to go places and everything lah. It's how you deal with people that's the problem.

Some people you meet don't leave a trace in your life, they just a memory in your past, some made an impact to your life in good or bad way but some you can't live without. I wish I remember everybody I met in my 22 years of living but of course it's impossible. I can't even remember people that I meet yesterday.

Cerita? Haha... merapu bolehlah (!)

Kalau kita meet someone, no matter for whatever reason (even the wrong ones!); always be open-minded and keep your options open.

To me, our lives are too short to limit ourselves to doing things yang so-called 'right' ones. How can you be sure that it's right, anyway? There is a limit to all our accumulated knowledge, and cuma Dia yang tau segalanya.

Dan Dia jugalah yang aturkan pertemuan kita dengan sesapa pun, kan? So that's why I said always keep your options open, because you'll never know what plans He had for you.

We may plan, but He's the one who's calling the shots :-)

I totally agree with you. Tp klau kita tak blh terlampau open up our option klau kita dah terikat (mcm marriage ke) so that kita tak membawa masalah lak.

I may have chosen the wrong words, and this may leave my comments misinterpreted (agaknya) :-)

What I meant by 'keeping your options open' BUKANLAH contohnya: kalau kita (or saya, rather) jumpa an attractive girl (more than what you'd imagined your dream girl would be) suddenly saya jatuh hati dengan dia, nak spend time dengan dia, and nak kawin (gasp!) dengan dia; whereas saya dah kawin time tu.

To me, 'keeping my options open' means we need to weigh all (and I do mean ALL, including those untuk kepentingan diri sendiri :-) our options, be it bad or good, before making any decisions.

Kalau yang baik melebihi yang 'jahat', then by all means do it. Tapi kalau yang 'jahat' tu lebih (walaupun sikit), sendiri mau ingatlah. For we'll definitely run the risk of hurting (even worse, losing!) the ones that we're supposed to love and cherish, kalau kita teruskan juga :-)

Tapi of course it all depends on what kind of a person you are! Huhu

mayne i misinterpreted what you said la. sorry....

kinda wonder thing like finding someone else which is better than what we already have and leave them just the be with the 'better' person. it's something that people do without thinking sometimes. esp guys yg tetiba nak kawin dua. (i'm not being sexist) but what i see in our society la, just because Islam let men marry more than 1, they always takes that for granted. whereas if women, no matter how good the person she just met, she cant do anything (beside having affair la).

with the new Bill coming up, men are easier to marry more. makes me scared to marry when I think about. (coz I hate to share)

Bab-bab kawin dua ni saya no komen :-) itu sendiri-sendiri punya selera! huhu

jangan risau sangatlah pasal benda2 trivial camni: to me, bad things can only happen to those yang lalai dan lupa tanggungjawab masing-masing pada tuhan. as long as you fulfill your duties; He will definitely grant whatever your heart desires, ok?

including a husband: all for yourselves. no sharing :-P
